Professional development
BCIS encourages continuous development; we are committed in monitoring the performance of all staff members to empower them and increase quality. We include activities that support the enhancement of the quality of learning and teaching. We allow teachers to build on their interaction skills and learn strategies for helping students to achieve their full potential.
In BCIS we take systematic steps to develop and improve our teachers, working at BCIS means you will be provided with training in smart boards, first aid and student communication. We will provide you with side by side learning, video training, shadowing, mentoring, and coaching.
Our teachers must be role models and have the ability to communicate with every student. They have to be able to identify and support students’ diverse learning needs. Teachers are expected to promote values of social justice and equality, and build attitudes of respect and moral values.

PEOPLE ARE FIRST
I’ve been working at BCIS for 3 years now, very colorful years to be honest. From staff to students, it has been my second home. The appreciation that was shown to me from everyone in the school was the motivation for me to work even harder and be more committed. There were ups and downs but it was all worth it.
