A brief history of the school

BCIS was established in 2016 as a product of a clearly defined and set vision. Having already been immersed in the educational sector via Nour Eleman International School; which was founded in 1997 and is one of the best private Sudanese Arabic Curriculum providers in the region, we wanted to establish an English international school with the same qualities catering to both local and international communities in Khartoum.

With a mission embedded in leadership, the name Brighter Choice was thus inspired by our strive to equip and prepare students as bright forward thinkers and productive community members.

We aimed at creating an international school that not only pursues academic excellence and intellectualism, but also focuses equally on developing students social, physical and emotional well being. We believe that as the two complement each other, nurturing both aspects will enable students to thrive and reach their full potential. We are proud to say that since our induction and to this day, BCIS is committed to fostering each student’s development by way of this approach.
