Our goal is to educate the hearts of our students. We consider the importance of not only educating the minds of our students but also teaching them all the qualities that make them human School Principal

THE CURRICULUM

Our curriculum is perfect for young learners to engage and play.
Phonics involves the relationship between sounds and their spelling. The goal of phonics instruction is to teach students the most common sound-spelling relationships so that they can decode, or sound out, words. Out of many teaching methods and approaches, Jolly Phonics is known to be the most preferred and effective technique when it comes to teaching young children.

BCIS ENVIRONMENT AS THEIR SECOND HOME

In BCIS we create a stable “home base” environment that is positive and supportive so every student feels a sense of belonging.

We ensure that the school is child-friendly, and well equipped for children to safely explore materials. The classroom is a place where children feel safe and comfortable to ask questions, take risks and explore new ideas.

In BCIS we provide a pleasurable mix of learning opportunities and play. Our students are in constant interaction with each other and with teachers in small groups throughout the school day.

COMMUNICATION IS KEY

In BCIS we consider the importance of communication for young children as one of the major developmental tasks in early childhood. Communication development for young children includes gaining the skills to understand and to express thoughts and feelings.

Our students are identified by their teachers as communicating primarily through their ART, cries or facial expressions. We ensure that they engage in discussion with each other and with the teachers, to share information, to exchange ideas and to solve problems together. This helps deepen their understanding of their ideas.
