In Brighter Choice International School, we encourage our students to express themselves through diverse activities. Our aim is to discover the many skills and talents that make the students who they are. We provide a motivational environment which promotes each child’s physical and emotional cognitive development.

Our goal is to create leaders and team players that is why we include activities which require teamwork and critical decision making.

Early life activities

“Play, explore and remember safety first”

Early childhood (2-5 years) is a critical time for the development of healthy behaviours, such as daily physical activity. In BCIS the quality of activities is our top priority. We focus on keeping the students outdoors more so they are able to learn through experiencing and exploring.

In BCIS we are aware of one of the main concerns that parents share about their children engaging in outdoor activities is their safety. That’s why we take all possible precautions to make sure our students are safe.

We make sure they start the day with ‘circle time’ since it has proven to keep the students focused, comfortable and energized throughout the day.

We also acknowledge the importance of classroom activities while teaching, to help the students emotionally connect and develop their speaking and listening skills.

Our aim is to make them independent and confident while making sure they are having a good time!

Primary level activities

“STRONG & EDUCATED”

In the primary level students will begin to master their skills, that is why they need to be actively involved in a variety of activities. We introduce students to activities that allow them to be able to work unassisted and independently.

In BCIS we believe in the importance of ‘hands-on learning’. It shows students the reality of a problem which makes it simpler!

The school provides the students with activity based material to enhance their creative dynamism to guide them through the process. We make sure the teachers understand the relationship between learning and games.

Blending different activities will help us ensure that the students are developing emotionally, mentally and physically.

Each class is taught using lesson plans which incorporate original and traditional age-appropriate music and songs. We make sure gymnastics; dance and other physical activities are a part of their daily routine. Many other activities provided include:

Middle school Activities

“KNOW YOUR STUDENT”

In BCIS “knowing our student” is of great importance, development of emotional control, confidence and communication skills are what we aim for in middle school. This is the time for them to discover their interests and foster their life-long passion.

We provide the students with activities that help them experiment and explore until they find what fits them best, while helping them improve their social skills, moral values and personality progress. Students can pick from a variety of clubs, sports and activities, but most importantly we make sure they are practicing what they are passionate about.

In BCIS, we believe that teaching them the importance of decision making, leadership and teamwork is critical in this age!
